The primary objective REU is to encourage talented undergraduate students to pursue graduate study and research careers in computer science by providing them a competitive research experience.This Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) project is a nine week program where students work collaboratively on a wide variety of computational science projects. Ten undergraduate students will be selected to participate in this program, to conduct research with active and experienced research faculty.
The students will have the opportunity to interact with computer scientists, medical physicists, and industry personnel. The students will be able to work alongside faculty and graduate students on cutting edge research in Computational Sciences related to Health Information Technology.
